My friend was 2 months pregnant. Her boyfriend is away in the Navy although he's here every weekend to see her. She loves him and he loves her. He found out recently he has to go overseas in months. So her bring pregnant happened on time. She recently was devasted by the news that she had a miscarriage and has been sad ever since. She hasnt told her boyfriend. How should she tell him? Any advice would be gladly appreciated.

You just have to tell him. There is no easy way except tell him you need to talk about something very importan.

I'm very sorry your friend lost her baby, I know just how sad she must be, but she does need to tell her boyfriend so they can deal with the grief together, there isn't to many ways to say you have lost a baby just saying it says all. I believe everything happens for a reason and there is a possibility that she could fall again easily after a miscarriage. It is very difficult to loose a baby as you start blaming yourself for something you have no control over, this baby just wasn't meant to be which is unfortunate but that's the way life goes sadly. I wish her all the best in a future pregnancy. Good luck

I am so sad for your friend. The best way to tell him is just to be honest. I am slightly confused, did he know about the pregnancy at all?? That would be the first thing that she needed to tell him...if he already knoew then it will be just a matter of time before he figures it out. She needs to sit down with him...not do it over the phone preferably. She needs to explain to him what happened and what happened medically. After she gets through that she should open up and let her emotions come out. She will be surprised, I am sure her BF will act with sadness and understanding.

She just needs to be honest iwth him and sit him down when he is home and explain it to him. If he won't be back for a while she will have to tell him cause she doesn't want him getting all excited about a baby that will never be.

Its perfectly normal and doesn't usually mean anything is wrong - about 1/4 of pregnancies end this way through no fault of anyone, so hopefully he will understand and they can support each other.

She just needs to tell him. There's not going to be an easier or better way to do it. The longer she waits to tell him, the more difficult it will be. If she's really nervous, maybe you could tell him for her. Just say "She was so upset, she couldn't tell you, but..."

Just tell him, I hope that isn't the only reason they were together, tell her if its real love it will last, if it was only because she was pregnant its better to know now.

she should just tell him flat out.

if she waits or lies, she will only damage their relationship.

and as terrible as this sounds, the boyfrind probably WONT be heartbroken.
