One of my coworkers got me a lucky bamboo plant, and I was wondering how to properly care for it. It's beautiful, but I notice that some of the leaves are turning yellow/brownish like they're dying. Can I cut those off, or is the plant sick?

stick it in a window and see if new growth appears in a few weeks, its probably just not getting enough light. make sure there is plenty of water in the pot and change thewater every second week or so. I'm assuming its one of those stick things in water. if you want, you could plant the stick in soil after it develops a good root system

All mine required was to be watered frequently and put in lots of natural sunlight and it thrived like crazy. They are so pretty, aren't they?

I have a few stalks in water. Mine do that occasionally. I merely pinch them off.
