i am buying 240litre tank i am tinking of buying a blood parrot,any suggestions on cool fish to keep?

im buying tropical ne suggestions on fish for my new tank i have been lookin at juveniles aswell but tink dey marine fish.

if getting a blood parrot please only get other aggressive fish. otherwise you're buying expensive fish food! Blood parrot are South American Cichlid and can SHOULD ONLY be with other South American Cichlids. (i know people to get other fish and they can survive! just make sure the fish can fit in thier mouths!)) I know that African ones are pretty but they will beat up the blood parrot they are far more aggressive. i would suggest Jack Dempsey's.

I would get a Oscar to they are good tank mates with parrots parrots get big but not as fast as a Oscar does so get them the same size or the parrot a little bigger
