Comparing Rooney to Ronaldo (Real Madrid) at the age of 21. Who was better?
In my opinion Ronaldo was far better then Rooney is now.

Ronaldo was far better.
Unstoppable Dribbling.
Crazy cross over.
Clinical finishing.
Can score outside the box, inside the box, can dribble all the way inside....
Simply Phenomenal.

since we don't know what will happen during the year Rooney is 21 it's not an answerable question
But about Ronaldo when he was 21 - what really happened before the 1998 World Cup final?
I know the official story is he had a "convulsive fit".
But a normal, healthy person doesn't have a "convulsive fit" out of the blue.
Did he overdose on something? Was it a mental breakdown? Or something else entirely?
Anyway he has never lived up to his hype.

rooney technically the better player , but they are chalk and cheese , ronaldo at that age at porto , is and was a out and out stand on the shoulder of the last man striker , where as rooney plays in the hole in between as a playmaker , no comparrison rooney has more awareness and vision , ronaldo took power and pace of a striker to a whole new level back then though , as an individual player with no service from hypithetical team mates , rooney would win my vote
