im sitting in front of my computer crying looking at my schools counselor center number. this isnt the first time. Everytime i plan on calling because i feel the need to go and i just start crying and cant do it.... I cant get an appointment.... i just need the strength to call and get the appointment because i need help...

thanx everyone for responding i actually called and i have an appointment on monday... i hope now i have the strength to go....because one other time i called and ended up not going cuz i had a big midterm

Don't listen to the likes of julean33, I have trouble seeing counselors too. Maybe you just need some moral support in making and going to the appointment. Ask a friend for help with that part.

just keep in mind that they're there to help....and it can only be beneficial towrads you. just be brave, and cry about it before if you want, and then just call. you will be really glad you did. just bite the bullet and call---plowing through is the only way.

counsilers no nothing, and frankly they dont really care either, they'll tell you anything as long as they get paid. and that is the truth. and why would you want to talk to someone about your problems who doesn't even know you? your better off talking to a trusted friend.
