can you please tell me the step-by-step process that you would say to teach the young one how to fly? [with the assumption of course that you fly yourself.] and no broomsticks please! just plain wings.

Cherubim are the second order of Angels and the second most powerful beings after God, Seraphim being the first after God, according Christian Lore. They are the ones with the flaming swords you always hear about, and are the Holders of Knowledge, they do not need a human to teach them anything, if you except the Christian mythos then they are taught personally by God himself.

Cherubim is plural. Cherub is the singular.

And I'd go outside to a tree, put pillows all around the tree, and have the cherub jump until instinct kicks in, and the little guy flies.

Cherubim as with other angles were created to fly. It's not something you learn, they just know how. Like the five seances we have. It's a gift from God.
