Stop the friggin presses. 'Trick or treat' is well deserving of my respect and yours. Now all the haters should heed a lesson from you. I will listen to an opposing argument, when the opposer does not spew HATRED. And I'm sure that if all you haters could dump the HATRED, you could probably come up with some good ideas. HATE BLOCKS THOUGHT. Thank you, Trick or treat. (feels funny addressing someone as 'trick or treat') ROCK ON MY FRIEND, ROCK ON.

Ok 'melouofs' Stop your hate and maybe you could be the first person to come up with a solution to the port inspections. Because right now, nobody has one for that.

Elway - Here's the perfect example for you. I never liked or trusted President Bill Clinton. But I never displayed public HATRED for him. Two reasons, #1. Hatred is WRONG. #2. Public HATRED for a PRESIDENT DOES Embolden other countries and enemies.
I served in the U.S. Military. I protected your cozy lifestyle and your right to FREE Speech. And until you do the same, I suggest you THANK ME and ALL the other guys and gals that SACRIFICED FOR YOU. BTW Part of what Jack Nicholson said in 'A Few Good Men' was accurate.

I am a Democrat and I don't hate the President. I agree that public hatred is disrespectful of the office, and, worse, counterproductive in a time of war.

Having respect for the Office of the President doesn't automatically convey respect to the man who sits there. In the United States it's part of our heritage and responsibility to take offense at political incompetence, whether it's from a Congressman or a President. I'd like to ask you a question: Did you stand up for Bill Clinton when he was being impeached? After all, he was the President, surely you didn't say anything bad about him?

Forgive me for not believing you on your claim of never saying anything hateful against Clinton. Your whole attitude reeks of hatefulness, I would imagine it would be very difficult for you to restrain that in the face of someone you dislike as much as Bill Clinton. Also, how dare you assume I have not served in the military. I served in the Navy, my father was a Marine and my stepmother retired as a Major from the Army. You really DO have a terrible attitude problem, that is obvious. How about thanking ME for my service, can you do that sir? You should have inquired about it in the first place rather than making assumptions, which it seems is something you do rather well.

Well when we GET an elected president again, that will be a topic to discuss. Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not a suck up DINO Democrat like Lieberman. I think the public has AT LEAST the right to express outrage at a dictator installed by a shamlection, not unlike the outrage expressed in the Declaration against George III. And I contemplate what you might have said at the time, taking your thought orders from Rush, about the last ELECTED president, WJC. I would be the LAST to say that WJC was perfect or even great, but he did nothing that was impeachable. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

How about the first Republican? I never heard so much hatred as comes from them on Y!A. I do hate the way this President has portrayed my beloved nation abroad and here at home and I believe it is my right as an American citizen to not just go along with things as they are, but to exercize my right to free speech, as well as my right to vote, both of which I do regularly. What I find way more harmful than some private person saying they hate GWB is the media disclosing any bit of information possible to terrorists and anyone else who cares to hear. For example...tonight at 10, how our troops are in Iraq without proper armor on their humvees, or how 90% of the freight coming into the Port of Boston is not inspected...THAT can cause real harm.

What is more harmful is an administration that violates laws, takes away civil liberties, only proposes policies that help the rich and lies. What is also more harmful is to say nothing about it.
By the way, how much hate was directed at Clinton when he was president?
