Contact the Local Police Department and just ask, You will be ask to give your complete name maybe your social, either way if they can not help You will be told what department you would need to contact, Most of the time the police dept. can tell you and/or the local court office. Take Care OH before you make contact or go, BESURE to have BAIL MONEY READY and TAKE SOMEONE WITH YOU, This Happened to me once, But I DIDN'T SEE IT COMING, I WAS SET UP, GLAD IT IS ALL OVER AND CLEARED OF THE FALSE CRAP.

This smells to high heaven!

Does the Card contain any case number or statement as to who the other parties are?

Sounds like he wants to get a date with you.

Especially since the department doesn't have any listing of your name!

And why would you think it is a Civil warrent rather than a Criminal warrent?

Maybe you are calling the wrong department??????

Try calling the Criminal warrent department.

a civil warrnt is issued by the county clerk. contact your COUNTY CLERK and find out what it is about.

in most cases it comes from small claims court, also if an officer stopped by then it means either you missed your court appearance or he was trying to drop off the summons
