L = 2W, and LW = 5000. Therefore 2W^2 = 5000, so W^2 = 2500. This means W=50 and L=100.

Length = L
Width = 2L
L x 2L = 5,000
2L^2 = 5,000 where 2L^2 = 2L (squared)
L^2 = 5,000 / 2
L^2 = 2,500
L = 50
2L = 100
