Ya make sure u have an active connection. And sometimes limewire files don't load if there are not enough sorces for them to get information from. Try to download the ones with the most sources. Oh ya the sources are the things with the varying numbers. Good luck.

It's perfectly alright..don't worry.Sometimes the host that has uploaded the file may not be online,or might be busy.......To get the best results, try downloading files which have a higher number mentioned against them and rated with more stars. That means, that particular file is available with many hosts, and is ur bet for a sure download. But,always be cautious;keep ur firewall enabled, and use a good antivirus......limewire wud be fun.Happy downloading!!

I have limewire too, and it really depends on what your'e downloading--do you allow it to download for a while (it can take minutes...or even hours). Try right clicking on the song (on the list of songs you're currently loading) and selecting "Search for sources" and then it'll take a couple minutes to look for other sources in order to complete the download.
Also try downloading a couple different versions of the song. What is the song? Maybe I could try for you.

Try a different file to download. You're probably not doing anything wrong - limewire peer-to-peer can be a little sketchy sometimes.
I get loads of those.

Your firewall may be blocking it. To go to your firewall settings, go to Start, Control Panel, Windows Firewall and when the box comes up, click on exceptions and make sure all parts of Limewire are ticked. I hope this helps you.

Make sure there are sources for that file. Also, check to make sure you don't need to forward any ports...I'm not sure how LimeWire works because I don't use it, I use eMule Plus and I know that you have to forward ports if you are behind a router.
