So I have been struggling with these warts for about 8 friggin' years. Yeah they're stubborn. I have tried Cryo-therapy from the doctor (about $500 per visit) which I cannot afford. I have tried Aldara (about $180 per prescription refill), which did nothing for them, except making them considerably more sore. Recently I started using the Compound W FreezeOff since it's about $20 a can (way cheaper than the doctor visit) and Tea Tree oil in between freezings. Although the treatment is working it's like trying to dig a ditch with a teaspoon...very slow going....and excruciating to boot. Does anyone know of a treatment that works, is less painfull, and doesn't cost a fortune? All of the physicians that I have encountered in my area not only don't know (the first one told me that it was "skin tags" and not to worry about it... delaying treatment for 3 yrs) but also like they could care less. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

The only way to get rid of them permanently is to have them burned off with some kind of freezing solution which the doctor uses. It hurts and sometimes requires several treatments, but insurance covers it and they don't come back. Personal experience.
