i just downloaded the program for free, but wonder if it would be better to just get dreamweaver- any one try nvu?.

I'm not sure of NVU but if you want to build a site try Webstarts.com they have a easy to use drag and drop web editor. You can just sign up to create a free website or you can have them build a site for you.

Their basic site gives you a personal domain name or transfer your existing one, 5 email addresses for that name, and 2 pages. You could then go in at any time to your own account and create more pages on your own, and also make live changes without additional charges.

I tried it a long time ago, but I don't like WYSIWYG editors like NVU or Dreamweaver. I just use Notepad++...but I think it looked good anyway.
