No, I admit that I don't know something, but what gets me is when people don't believe that you don't know the answer. What is that about?
On the flipside, I sometimes say "I don't know" even when I do know the answer to avoid giving a long explanation to somebody too stupid to understand...like my exboyfriend.

I never minded admitting that I knew nothing about a subject. I was perfectly comfortable saying, "I don't know." I found, though, that I was beginning to sound like a broken record, so now I just keep my mouth shut.

I am the first one to say that I don't know something. You just look like an idiot if you act like you know something and then get busted. I love the words "I don't know!!"
