That's waay too direct. I saw this fellow on the Internet. It was a product testimonial that mentions his company, etc. He seems nice and very well put together.

YOUR STATEMENT IS GOOD. BUT IF HE IS A CONCEITED GUY AS MOST GORGEOUS GUYS ARE THEN HE MAY NOT BE WORTH IT BUT IF HAS A GOOD HEAD ON HIS SHOULDERS AND CAN TAKE A COMPLIMENT THEN YOU SHOULD GO FOR IT. OR YOU CAN SAY "I LIKE WHAT I SEE" THEN YOU CAN HAVE HIM THINKING ABOUT WHAT IS IT THAT YOU SEE THAT HE HAS PRESENTED.

Maybe just say hi and start the conversation there. See if you can be friends before anything else. Start with general conversation, but mention you saw him online and wanted to meet him because he seemed like a good friend. That's the easiest way

And how do you know that is really him? You don't. People put up pictures that are not themselves all the time.
Stay away from email/IM relationships. Go out and meet someone in person. Then if you want to IM/email him....you at least know who he is.

I would send him an e-mail telling him that you were impressed with his testimonial on the product. You can ask him if he is married. I was going to say to tell him that you would like to get to know him, but if he is married, that wouldn't be nice to tempt him.
