I used to be a Sailor Moon NUT back when it debuted in America. I taped every episode during the runnings of the first two seasons, and then the third and fourth seasons on Cartoon Network, and I still have those tapes to this day. I used to buy all the merchandise, and I used to draw still shots right off the TV screen. I even have a fanfic in the works, but grownup life refuses to let it get off the ground. Hee-hee.

Wow, I love it! It's one of my favorites and it's definitely one of the best and most popular anime series ever.

I first watched it as a kid, when I was about 7 years old, and it was the first cartoon that really marked me. Now I'm browsing through my memories and watching all the episodes again on http://www.youtube.com

I identify with a lot of the characters, especially Usagi and Haruka Tenoh. What's funny about this is that when I was a kid, Haruka was the character I hated the most. I was obviously a bit naive and she always annoyed me because I could never be sure of her gender. Now, after re-watching the show, she became my favourite character.

What can be said about Sailor Moon? It's a really fun cartoon that has all the necessary elements to be a total success, just like it proved to be.

I'd say for the time, Sailor Moon was really a great anime to be shown here in America for it was one of the first, that I can remember, animes geared especially towards girls. With all the girl problems and romance going on, it seemed to mimic the real world, save for their supernatural abilities.

All I can tell you is the American version doesn't compare with the Japanese version of the anime. Also the anime doesn't compare with the manga AT ALL!!!

Also, be glad that the true 'american blasphamy' the live action/animation change Sailor Moon ever showed on TV. I don't know what company that was (Saban maybe?)...but dear god...was it bad!

"Sailor Moon" questions for some odd reason are poping up. There must be a lot nostalgia 90's fans online. In my opinion of the anime was appealing to teens because they could identify with the main character. When she first transforms into her alter ego Sailor Moon doesn't know what to do.

As the show progresses we as the audience are introduced to a romance/teen comedy and the characters evolve with different problems brought to them. Eventually we also see Sailor Moon becoming similar to Shazam but for girls. It was fun to watch while it was the air.

I love Sailor Moon. I've seen the whole series nearly and i've seen the sailor stars series. I got it off ebay and I had to watch it with english subtitles. But all and all I really like the style or the anime as well as the ending.

I miss Sailor Moon... I knew the theme song and everything. I just wished that they made Tuxedo Mask a better character.

I loved Sailor Moon! The original episodes anyway. (At least the American versions. I never saw the original Japanese, but I heard they were pretty risque. ) After there were too many new characters, it started to go downhill. It made me sad.
Fighting evil by moonlight...
