I don't know...I'm gay and I've often been hit on by straight women...I just take it as a compliment and laugh it off...I don't see why the situation can't just be reversed....I think if you were talking straight men it might be different..but women, at least to me, seem to be much more open and unopionated about sexuality (in general)..they seem to have a much more adult view of it....so I think you're chance of getting a bad reaction is slim...but you might get a simply 'no, I'm not interested'.

Well I would never be offended if a woman hit on me....it just means straight up that something you "have" intrigues them. Weather it be your personality or a nice body or great hair....something made the want to come up to that person. Now I am not like all women I understand but I think if you are straightforward and polite you will be able to find some great common grounds and if not find love find a really great friend. Good luck to you and your search!

i agree with da ben dan, but yet there may be mean people around in your very close vicinity who may use this fact against you, you know there are those waiting to bring you down because of your choices (esp at work if u are not an open homosexual, everyone does not support homosexuality)
But if it is randomly on the street/in an unknown place, i don't believe you may get such a bad reaction from str8 women. Women are always more polite than men are.

Me, being a straight girl, I can honestly say that I've been hit on by lesbians before and usually ended up saying...I'm straight...but talking to them anyways. Actually, my last room mate and best friend is a gay guy that I came onto hard, and we laugh about it now. In the world we live in, it's rediculous to get flustered because someone hits on you. They should be flattered if anything else...I think.

yes I have picked up on a straight woman and I was with her for 3 years and she was a nightmare... I know this isn't what you meant but yes....
I think you just need to be more open about who you are and make tons of friends, someone is bound to be interested and want to get close to you.... They say when you are not looking it comes, So just start looking for friends...

Dont be scared....Just be straight forward and normally they just smile and say I am sorry I am not gay. and then you move on. I had one guy who blew up in my face saying.....Do I look like a fag to you, do I look like a sissy who wears a little dress and dances around playing with kittens. I laughed in his face and said sorry man, I just thought you were hot, take it as a compliment...and he got even more mad and tryed to fight me and I ended up beating the piss out of him. I told him next time.....I will whoop his *** wearing my dress while holding my kitten. LOL But normally people are cool. I even had a straight guy I hit on and he was a little curious and we ended up having relations in my car. Next thing you know he wont stop calling me.

my current girl was straight when we met, we were friends and i started the flirt, but she was into it......and now, we are happy as can be together, and she says she'll never have another man.
depends on the person, you should know pretty soon into the relationship if she's into it at all.
and flirting is not gonna kill anyone, most women give as good as they get these days.....can't hurt to hit 'em up......go for it girl !!!!!

No but when I was in denial about my sexuality I was hit on many times by gay men. Now I just tell them I am g0y and that scares them right off. LOL

Just depends on the person. Bering strait didn't mind, but the Strait of Gibralter got really pissed.
