did the ponitac sunfire ever come with a V6?

No the sunfire only had a 2.2 L, 4 cylinder and a 2.4 L, 4 cylinder engine the 2.2 had about 115 hp where the 2.4 was up to about 150 hp.

I thought it did. Had you given a year I would have looked it up. It seems like I changed a 6 cylinder engine in one once.
