It will show up, however if you even suspect you have an ectopic pregnancy, get to a hospital right away. These can rupture and cause death. I have seen it all too often and also experienced it myself. I had an ectopic pregnancy and had to have it surgically removed. As soon as they opened me up it had ruptured. It was a good thing it happened when it did, else I could have bled to death. They saw it happen and was able to remove it with no problems.

It will show up that you are pregnant, but the urine test won't tell you or the Dr. whether it's ectopic or not.

Yes it should show up, pregnancy test check for the pregnancy hormone. If you suspect you have one go to your doc right away.
