I thought embryonic stem cell research was banned by President Bush. That's what I keep hearing so it must be true. You are mistaken Shiraz. Liberals embrace human life... and a 12 year-old's Constitutional right to have an abortion across state lines where her parents won't find out in a government funded abortion clinic that gives her a condom on her way out the door.

How does it encourage abortion? These are the leftovers of fertililzed embryos from fertilization clinics that people use to want to have children! These embryos are going to be thrown away and we could use these to advance the medical research of these cells.

Embryo stem cell research does not encourage abortion. It discourages wasting surplus embryos that are stored in fertility clinics.

Because the democrat mantra of pro-abortion must be preserved at all costs. Don't they realize that people are eventually going to get educated to the fact that what they are touting is fraudulent? Even Liberals can understand that the embryonic stem cell research is not producing a damn thing and that the FUNDED non embryonic is actually being used in some cures. The abortion "clinics" are a mutli-million dollar racket that the libs are more than happy to endorse.
They have all but made the destruction of the fetus a right-of-passage for teen girls on their way to womanhood.

There is no abortion involved in stem cell research. It is conducted on embryos left over in fertility clinics from women who no longer need them and which will be destroyed.

Isn't the whole argument about who FUNDS it? There is nothing stopping the private sector from pursuing research.
Is there ANY evidence that says that Embrionic stem cells will cure ANYTHING? I haven't seen any.
