Rush Limbaugh would say disgusting things about his mother and children, if he thought it would get him more radio popularity. He cares only about collecting ears minds of the very very simple. A survey revealed a very high percent of his listening audience do not have a high school education. He labels all school as bad, thus keeping the dumb, dumber. This guy is the enchanter of the ignorant and the romancer of the very stupid. The sad thing is he has so much power to make a difference in peoples lives because they listen to him but he has taken the opportunity to divide Americans and not educate. His listeners are for his own purposes. If these people became educated he would certainly lose his base. However if Rush spoke wisdom think of what an impact it would make on the lives of the very ignorant and simple people of this country. It could start a scholastic revolution. People could learn to take care of themselves. I pray for leadership in this country. We have a lot of sheep who will follow, but not responsible leaders to bring them to a place of safety and good for the country.

Even during the last to the television programs Michael J Fox did (Spin City) he was very "animated" and I wondered why he was still doing TV.
That said, I watched the ad on MSNBC and Rush Limbaugh's accusation and I consider the source. I happen to enjoy listening to RL in the morning here in Los Angeles just for the humor. The man has such a high opinion of himself that I am surprised he doesn't have constant nose bleeds.
The primary purpose behind Rush's comment was to push his Conservative, Republican viewpoint. It was not a diss on Michael. In fact, if all Rush could do about the ad was to comment on Michael's ailment then what Michael said hit closer to Rush Limbaugh's "home" than he would like to admit. It hit a nerve.

Well, now, you have to consider the source. Michael J. Fox has a legitimate, medically-recognized illness that he is coping with in a dignified, professional manner; Rush Limbaugh, on the other hand, is a hypocritical, opinionated, self-serving drug addict (can you spell prescription pills)? So, when you hear someone like Rush L. talking trash about someone as respected as Michael J., just remember, they can find a cure for Parkinson's and Michael J will be all better. On the other hand, no one has ever found a cure for stupidity, and most of the people (like Rush L.) who suffer from it wouldn't have sense enough to take medication for it anyway.

He is definitely on of the world's largest @ssholes! Rush Limbaugh, I mean. What an incredible dink! What could Michael J. Fox possibly gain by faking Parkinson's? Money? He's already got a boatload of that! Fame? He's got that, too! Recognition and awareness for Parkinson's? Well, if faking it makes people more aware of it and more inclined to look for cures and/or treatments, then you go Michael!

Rush Limbaugh is a complete ****** who does more harm than good for Conservatives. It doesn't surprise me that he would make fun of Michael J Fox, especially since Fox did that ad supporting Stem Cell research.

Limbaugh regularly feeds his audience a diet of falsehoods, misstatements, distortions, invective, and childish put-downs in service of the conservative movement.
Rush Limbaugh got exactly what he wanted...everyone talking about the stupidity of his remark...he lives off controversy.

Personally, I think he is a lonely, desperate man who is looking for attention and trying to get everyone riled up. I think it was incredibly insensitive and ignorant for him to accuse MJ Fox to say he was faking PD. I am sorry about your father having PD, it's not easy to witness that.
