Does anyone know if Mr. Levy wrote any other horror novels besides The Beast Within and Came a Spider? The Beast Within was one of the first, and creepiest, novels I have ever read. I snuck it form my sister’s book club collection when I was about 13 and I think I read it in two days. I have never seen anything else from him. Anyone heard what may have happened to him and his career?

His website says that his upcoming book is "The People Next Door", but the site seems pretty out of date. Wikipedia says: "He wrote The People Next Door in 1983, but copies are very scarce. Levy is currently revising The People Next Door, and is also in the process of penning a new novel entitled Something Most Evil."
His profile in an Authorsden site says: "I've had three books published, two of which--'The Beast Within' and 'Came A Spider'--were (for seven weeks and four weeks, respectively) on the New York Times Best Sellers List, and both were (in their time) Doubleday Book-of-the-Month-Club picks. Both these books were made into movies (cheap scaries, the both of them; 'Came A Spider' under the title, 'Empire of the Spiders'). My third book, 'The People Next Door' was slow getting started, but I still have great hopes for it. I am nearing completion on 'Something Most Evil' (this one about witchcraft) and it should be out ?? soon? My darling wife, Tara, also writes, and will be publishing her new novel soon. Perhaps sooner than me."
According to Amazon.com, he wrote a personal memoir in the 80s, but there's no info about it on any other sites.
