Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about your cotton shirt! I had the same thing happen on a similar cotton shirt! I surfed the net like a mad woman, but nothing worked. I finally tried the colorox bleach pen. It took the stain right out!

I paid about $4.50 for mine, but I was surfing the freebies today and I saw a link to get one for free!

Good Luck!

At this point you are probably out of luck and you don't mention what caused the stain, so if it is in a good area why not cover it? Iron on patches and beads etc. look in the sewing/craft dept of your favorite store. If you really want to try the stain again my best stain remover is equal parts of Borax and powdered dishwasher detergent, dissolve them in the hottest water the shirt will allow then soak it, for up to a day and wash as usual. My other suggestion would be try a professional dry cleaner, see if they have a guarantee.

if the shirt has been put through a dryer that stain is pretty well set by now.
take it to a dry cleaner and see if they can help. if not, then it is time for a new khaki shirt.

It would help if you can remember what the stain came from, you fight oil with oil, so if it is lip stick or cooking oil spray a bit of WD40 or 2in1 oil on it and pop it in the wash.

Just use Tide To Go sample, so you don't have to look for a laundromat. Check out this site http://www.upkb.com/tidetogo.php for cleaning tips and product details.
