Don't worry!

Launch the Internet Explorer. Now you see About Blank. No problem! There is nothing to worry about it.

It shows that No Website or Web page will be shown when Internet Explorer will be opened. You can then type in the Address Bar the URL of the website you want to browse.

But if you want see any particular web age when you click open the IE then do this:

Click on the Tools on the Menu Bar.

Select Tools

Now you will see Home Page option under the General Tab. Delete the text About Blank or whatever you see there and then type the correct URL of the Web page that you want the IE to show whenever you open it.

For example: www.mail.yahoo.com

This will open the mail page directly!

www.answers.yahoo.com

This will open... you know it!

Now click on the OK Button. Close the Internet Explorer and Open it again!

Go to Start> Control Panel> Network and Internet connections> Internet Options> and check what it says in the "Home page" box. If it says 'about.blank' then type in whatever page you want.
