Can they view your searching history? Bookmarked pages? If your passwords are saved on pages can they view the pages if you automatically sign in from your own computer (as in Yahoo! email)? All of this is in regards to separate computers sharing a connection.

If you leave file sharing disabled they will not be able to browse your computer files, but they could monitor your interaction with the internet and have the ability to "read" any information you send back and forth including unencrypted user id and password.

They COULD see your computer if you enable sharing on your computer (not the wi-fi). But the only thing they will see is any folders you want to share - and you have to proactively do that, it's not done by default.

do you have your netbios protocol enabled? if yes then they cansee your shared files as for passwords ect not likely same as what pages you view without looking at the history on your pc
