Depo should only be every 3 months for a shot. Mine took a year to get out of my system after being on it for 2 years. It depends on how long you have been taking it. If you have only been on it for a few months, it may be out of your system after a few weeks/months of not having another. Unfortunately, there is no way to get it out sooner. I would have if I could... I asked the doctors if there was anything they could do, but there wasn't anything unless I went on a different kind, but that doesn't take it out of the system, it just fixes what it did... (i had my period every day! a different birth control had to fix it!)

medicine is like radioactive stuff- many have a half life. medication we take can stay in our system for yrs after, obviously not at the same levels as before, traces of it can wreak havoc with our bodies long after we have taken it. best way to purge your system is by stopping the medicaiton and eating a strict raw foods diet. That will help cleanse everyhting. You may have to do it for awhile like a month or two. There is a reaosn why they call it practicing medicine

I highly doubt it since it was taken as a shot, if it was a pill you could get your stomach pumped before the pill disolved and released all its chemically goodness. You can call your doctor and ask if there is another shot to reverse the effects, an "Antidote" of sorts you could say.

depo comes out when it wants to come out. It is one of the worst things you could have used, but I used it too. To help get your period back you may want to take Vitex which is an herb. It helped me get back to normal.
