how do I underline words. I think it's called dragging?

well you forgot to say on what application or website if its in something like word then just drag over the words and choose underline from the tools or ctrl+u

Underlining is underlining. Dragging is something totally different.

Assuming you are using Word, highlight the text you want to uynderline and either click the underline icon or hit CTRL U.

Select the word you want to underline and then press CTRL+U

highlight the text by dragging the curser accross it, then hit control-u
