I am a 30 year old male, thin but athletic. I made a bet to a friend that I could pass as a REAL girl this Halloween. I have to get a costume of a girl of less that 30 years old! I guess that the only way I can REALLY look like a girl is if a real girl helps me out. I need advice and help! Are there any companies that do this stuff, like the special effects from the movies? The bet is HUGE and I don't want to loose! I don't know what to do.

i did it for my brother - 3 years in a row and his friend once.
for starters, obviously shave - legs & pits. if you have long hair fantastic! if not, look for a good wig - it will help hide your adam's apple. they sell special underwear to hide... as my sister calls them your bits & wobbles so that will be a necessity if you are going to wear anything tight - which i would strongly suggest given your body type. girls with thin/athletic bodies tend to wear tighter clothes. PRACTICE! you need to practice walking & makeup. grab your hips and sway them, that's how you should walk (especially in heels). no whorish makeup - that will be a dead giveaway that you are male. look for a famous female who has the same face shape & one who has the same eye shape and look at the makeup. your eyes are a big thing to concentrate on with makeup. lips are just getting the color right. go to a makeup counter if at all possible and have them do your makeup. you may need an appointment - usually the make up counters in places like robinson's may will do it. maybe not no questions asked, but no problem.
they sell silicone boobs, i'd also suggest a set of those. no deep neck tops, you'll see they are fake (no matter what you use for boobs). you may want a "V" neck of some sort to also detract from your adam's apple.
i hope that was helpful enough, if not, feel free to email me and i'll do my best. it's hard no knowing what you look like.

Rather than a costume, try real clothes. You can hit some thrift shops for a great selection of cheap women's clothes. Also check the shoe section for larger sized heels and women's boots. Boots are a good idea if you are athletic because they'll hide muscle definition. Try something with a moderate heel to make your feet look smaller. Shave and/or wax your arms and legs if you will have any skin showing. Shave a couple hours before you need to go out so you won't have any stubble on your face. You might want to check into department stores (macy's, robinson's) to see if you can have your make-up done by a proffessional to make it more convincing. You probably also want to invest in a good wig, not a $10 costume wig, but a real $40-$100 wig and have it styled before taking it home. A good manicure is also a good investment. And with all of these things, practice makes perfect, so walk in your shoes every night for an hour to get used to them. And good luck!

It depends on how much your willing to spend you might be able to get a make up artist to help you with your face. Your going to need a proper wig - most girls hair styles now days are straight, you should probably go for a side fringe too. Your def. gonna need some fake b00bs and a bra.
A good outfit would be skinny or bootleg jeans with a long jumper and a belt. Also a jacket and gloves - gloves will hide man hands unless you want to get the hair waxed off and have fake nails put in.
If your willing to go really far you should get your ears pierced, they will heal back up if you leave them without earrings in. Your going to need rings and necklaces and bracelets as well. Oh, and a handbag. Perfume too, girls never go out without a handbag,
If its halloween your gonna want like a halo headband or fairy wings or cat ears, something simple like that to show that your getting into the halloween spirit.
By the way for shoes - i wouldnt go for high heels, try flat boots or dolly shoes. You might wanna get your eyebrows waxed as well, you dont see girls with bushy brows. Hope i helped, good luck!

Hmmm....since you have an athletic build, you probably need a fat suit to hide the muscle, otherwise your body shape would be a dead giveaway. Make sure you hide that adam's apple, too! Don't JUST dress like a woman...dress like a woman DRESSING UP for Halloween! That way, it will be more convincing that you are female...hehe. Practice talking like a woman, too. Good luck with the bet and have fun!

well if you're actually going out for halloween as a girl, then i dont know if anyone would really take you seriously as a girl b/c halloween is for dressing up. but if you're just trying to look as much like a girl as possible, i would suggest: get an eyebrow wax, have a girl do your makeup, get a bra and stuff it (not too much, just a little will do - you dont want to look out of proportion), shave your legs and wear a cute skirt with a cute but not too revealing top (because you dont really ahve anything to reveal anyway!).

good luck, it sounds fun.

each physique has already pronounced each little thing you may accomplish that i visit enable you comprehend what to no longer do: Please do no longer flow overboard on the make up, women quite do no longer positioned on as much as adult males think of they do, quite eye shadow. do no longer positioned on a inexpensive tangled wig, it won't look genuine;if your hair is in any respect long i want to advise straightening and/or curling it. Your hair will look maximum sensible. do no longer positioned on a quick skirt, that could desire to be a disaster waiting to ensue. Make it an prolonged skirt or dress or pants. do no longer positioned on heels, it is impossible for adult males to stroll in them, attempt residences. or perhaps turn flops, yet given which you get a pedicure. and finally do no longer communicate in a pretend lady voice, in simple terms attempt to speak softer or in simple terms smile sweetly instead of talking. sturdy good fortune, i'm hoping you win the guess!

I'd say go as a witch or fairy or something. If you wore a long skirt, you won't have to shave your legs. Practice walking like a girl. Hide your adam's apple with a scarf or something.

Go to your local mall and hit the big stores like sears etc.
See if one of the girls behind the make up counter would help you out. You may have to pay her, but so what.

Also, check out any local theater groups and ask for their makeup artists.

Dude, if I get drunk and you let me hit on you, I will kill you.
