I'm shocked. CNN is actually taking a Republican side. Clinton helped supply the uranium to N. Korea for Energy reactors.

The Clinton administration, with famed peacekeepers Madeline Albright and Jimmy Carter, negotiated an historic deal with Kim Jong II and North Korea back in 1994. Under the terms of the "agreed framework," we gave North Korea all sorts of rewards for their "promise" to be nice -- more than $5 billion worth of oil, two nuclear reactors and lots of high technology, plus an immediate hault on weapons inspections to last for five years. In return, they took the bribes and kept building nukes.
Yes, you read that right: North Korea promised not to develop nukes, and we showed how much we trusted them by agreeing to no weapons inspections for five years. The famed "allies," whom liberals claim they are so interested in pleasing, went ballistic at this cave-in to North Korea. Japan and South Korea -- actual allies, unlike France and Germany -- were furious. Even Hans Blix thought we were being pansies. You can read all about it - amazingly enough we did have newspaper coverage of the events in 1994.

If we flow back a strategies adequate we can probable place extremely some the blame on previous George. no longer Bush, I meant Washington. A supervisor is employed right into a corporation. each and every thing that is going incorrect for the subsequent year is blamed on the previous supervisor. If each and every thing got here out that has been executed via the persons who run our government you will possibly have a heart attack. each and all of the crap, lies, sneaking around and utter detrimental issues that persons do is a sin. yet all of them do it. in case you think of any distinctive, you're a fool. in the event that they informed the fact no person might vote for them!!!!!

They are trying to say that under his presidency we "mollycoddled" N Korea even to the point of allowing them to by materials that could be used for nuclear weapons programs.
In truth we gave N Korea what they most wanted, a seat at the world table. If you'll notice Clinton actuall talked to them and there were nuclear tests performed under his presidency. And the materials for nuclear weapons? Look who sat on the board of director's on the firm that sold those supplies to them, Donald Rumsfeld.

everybody needs someone to blame these days i guess ... north korea has been a problem for years and thats why every administration has kept it down... down just enough to avoid all-out combat ... China is the problem, and dont believe all the rhetoric you hear about us "cooperating" with China ... thats being nice trying to diffuse the situation ... make no mistake about it, if we get into a big blooming conflict in korea its going to be war with China period ..and one that could quickly turn nuclear ... thats why we avoid it.

I don't know for sure but I think it's because when we had problems with NK earlier he did nothing thus allowing them to build and test a functioning nuclear device.

Because he gave them millions of dollars so they wouldn't develop nuclear arms. However, he was to naive to see that all they would do is use the money to develop the weapons while saying they wouldn't.
