According to today's market, is copper or gold worth more?

Just wondering as far as buying and selling these metals.

An ounce of gold is worth about $590.80

A pound of copper is worth about $3.40 (so an ounce is worth about 25.25 cents)

I'm going to go with "Gold is worth more"

Both metals are useful in different places. Of course, gold is more valuable than copper. But the 100% pure gold is too soft to make jewelry that copper has to be added into gold.
