I am not sure the most "widely spoken" but the language that the most people speak is Chinese. English or Spanish might be more widely spoken than Chinese; I am not sure.

Chinese is the most widely spoken language as a native tongue language...but English is practically is the most widely spoken language is the world almost anyone involved in a multinational business or a business related to any multinational companies speaks English anyone deals with soft wares..or Internet speaks language so definitely it's the most widely spoken language worldwide.
