You cannot make the PDF files open, per se. The users who are viewing your site must have Adobe reader and its plug-in installed in order for them to open up PDF files on any web sites.

Remember, just the reader itself is not enough, they need to have the plug-in too.

If it's a PDF file, Macs can open it with Preview (comes with the OS) so they don't even need to download Reader.

Put a link to the pdf file directly - if the users have Adobe Acrobat then it will automatically integrate with the browser.
