Euglena splitting in two is neither mitosis nor binary fission.

Euglena is a (unicellular) eukaryote and so divides its genetic material -- the contents of its nucleus -- by mitosis. But the division of the cell *itself* (as opposed to its nuclear material) is called cytokinesis not mitosis.

Binary fission applies to prokaryotes. Therefore it would be an incorrect description of the cell division process in Euglena.
