OK, I do Indy most years, and I actually have the authentic stuff (NOT the fakey "Indiana Jones" brand-name stuff that's just a cheap knock-off.) and I can tell you, to make it look right, there are a few things to keep in mind.
The jacket was a WW1 aviator's jacket. They were ALWAYS brown, never black.
As to the whip, there are two sources for getting an ACTUAL bullwhip of the exact type used in the films:
David Morgan, who built the originals, and
Joe Strain, David's former apprentice, and now the best whipmaker in America.
There are many different styles of bullwhip, and the "mock" kind just won't do it justice. The Indy whip is an American-style heavy bullwhip with a flat braided wrist loop, a heavy pommel knot on the butt, and a turk's head knot at the top of the handle, which is 8" long. The whip is kangaroo hide, 12-plait, anywhere from 6' to 10' long, depending upon the scene he was in, and is a dark tan in color, and hangs from the belt on your LEFT side, handle forward.
For one of Joe's whips, you'll spend about $300. For the same whip from Morgan, $700. You can see pictures of these whips on Joe's website,
www.northernwhipco.com
Indy also wore a gunbelt with flap-over holster, and carried a .38 or a Webley depending upon which film.
The hat worn in Temple of Doom was made by Baron Hats, in Burbank, CA, at 818-563-3025. They are custom-made, and start at around $300, but they may have some off the rack fedoras that are similar.
Other than that, khaki trousers and shirt, and a gas mask bag to use as a collecting bag for artifacts (the strap that goes across his torso) and a web belt like the Boy Scouts use, some generic work boots, and you're set!

If you have khaki pants and shirt that would be great. Also a big leather belt wasn't it! And leather boots

Yes, I think the hat and whip would do it.

No, you are a failure, and therefore not worthy of Indiana's costume
