go into the shop and tell them you are not satisfied with the work... quote the warrenty (the part that applies) and if they refuse to co-operate then tell them you are goig to take the matter up with trading standards (after all you bought the warrenty) and they will usually come to an agreement about it... make sure you tell them exactly what the problem is .... ie-the screen wont work...wont switch on... ect ect...

check out the trading standards act before you go in so youve got knowledge of it to back up your claim, the more clued up you seem the more terrified they become...

hope that helps...

dont worry, your best bet is to do the work yourself as most of these so-called p.c repair men(or women) are rip-off merchants
i have heard tales of people going to a repair shop with a simple hardware problem and being told they need another hard drive, and another 512mb ram,and all that was wrong was the sound had gone(needed to re-install drivers:::3 minutes work)
if you post the problem as a answer on this site or let me know ,it may be a simple problem that can be rectified without being sent for repair
the problem with these guys is they do so many jobs in a day they can easily mix up jobs and end up doing the wrong job on your p.c
so you might aswell do it yourself
but do be aware...opening up your p.c while under warranty may affect your warranty so allways seek advice
good luck

They should have given you an explanation or refund since you had a warranty. Now call up the manager and file a complaint. This does not work then file a report with the better business bureau or file charges against them at the courthouse. Also getting a lawyer will help with the process and inform you of your rights.

Depending on the company depends on your course of action!

I would recomend taking it back and if that fails, (you can do this in private,) email me your problems and i will give you a solution so you can personaly fix the problem!

PcWorld are the worlds worst for help! I would never buy a pc from them (i can assume you got yours from them or a similar company).

Take it back and complain, mentioning that they brought it back after repair, but it wasn't repaired.

Some places say that if they can't fix it, they'll replace it, but not all. They'll proberly try repair it a few more times before that though.

Go back to the store and start smaching their computers with a hammer, until they fix yours, and when security comes smash that MFCR too.

If you took it to PC World then I'd definitely beleive you.
Think my laptop went back to them SEVEN times before it got sorted.
