You can plant them in the spring or the fall. If you plant them in the fall be ready to use them early or they will get too strong as the summer goes on. If you plant them in the spring they will be ready usually about 6-7 weeks after planting (I'm talking about planting the bulbs). And you can plant them as soon as the soil is workable and not muddy. They can withstand cold temps.

Depends on where you live. In the late summer or early fall and again in spring for those of us that live in the warmer part of the country. But for those that live in real winter zone..plant in the sping after the fear of frost has past.

You could start seeds indoors in March and transplant them in April. It depends on the weather in your area. If your weather is not cold [below freezing] you can pl;ant them outside in spring.
