I went to burger king the other day and bought 8 pieces of chicken tenders. i asked for some sauces for my chicken, the employee gave me one but i asked if i could have another one (i like a lot of sauce with my chicken) and she said that it was 25 cents. i felt like i was being ripped off.

LAME!!! yeah the McDonald's a couple cities over charges me 10 cents for BBQ sauce..... Its the only one that charges me. I wont even go to that one anymore...To answer your question yeah I think all condiments should come with your meal...(most places they do)

You did get ripped off! You're allowed 1 sauce for each 3 pieces of chicken tenders. In California, some fast food places charge you for the water.

Sometimes I'm charged for "extra" sauces, but usually at least one comes with the meal. I noticed a couple years ago that McDonald's put up a sign stating how many sauce cups came with each size chicken nugget -- I don't know if the sign is still up or not.

Typically though I'm not charged. I would have questioned it if I were you.

The first one comes with the meal. Anything else needs to be charged for. It's just the cost of doing business. Otherwise someone could ask for 10 extra sauces for free and it cuts into the bottom line. A quarter is no big deal.

Most fast food places now have a limit. Like at the McDonalds around here, you get one sauce packet per 6 piece pack of nuggets, 2 sauces for a 10 piece, etc. If you want more you have to pay. They are all franchised though so different locations will have different policies.

a few sauces should come with the meal. charging a couple cents for additional sauces prevents customers from abusing the system and getting 10 sauces for one chicken nugget.

some resturants charge, others dont. it sucks, but oh well.

It used to be sauces and condiments automatically came with your meal. Nowadays it is not uncommon for a restaurant not just a fast food to charge. The reason is that it is costly. For instance sauces for nuggets or ketchup packets. Most of the time just get thrown away---a waste. It all comes down to saving a dollar.
