This is just the way it is and it will never change. Other nations do not like each others religions/beliefs and lifestyles.

It is a religious problem, everyone seems to believe that their
beliefs are the one and only. I have already mentioned, here
on this site, that we should rid ourselves of the United Nations
and start a United Religions, with each credible and traditional
religion having a seat. They would debate and respect each
other and determine our destinations. It would save a lot of
money and do a lot more good to humanity. By the way, I am
a Presbyterian, born in Glasgow and have no axe to grind
with those who wish to follow other beliefs. Cheers, Iain

In the world you say. I would just like my two kid's (16 & 14) to at least be civil with each other.

i wish we all could im all for it! it just seems that not everyone wants to get along with me even when i just sit there. People like to start drama for attention i don't know why. Things would be a lot better if everyone got along and helped eachother.
Why don't we (everyone that feels this way) start trying to get this idea moving along if not we could always make a whole new communtity i don't know you tell me. :) either way have a great day!!!

Greed would be my number one choice, some people in power, or not, always want more say in others affairs, want what others have but they don't, OIL comes to mind.
Religion next, it was/is supposed to bring us all together but is now, and throughout history, one of the major causes of war

cos we as a species, have lost our connection to mother earth, and taken to following false man-made gods,
we are out of balance with nature, n the natural world,
and are now commited to the quest for greed n personal wealth.

It takes more effort than most people want to forth in order to accomplish such a goal. It also takes more tolerance, understanding, & compassion than can seem to be found anywhere.

I think it has alot to do with people who want to control others and they think they are the best.
