I do apologize for the length of this....I hope it makes you laugh though!
Dreams are very interesting phenomenon that all people have reagardless of whether they recall them or not. I believe that for some people dreams are forshadowing of what will occur in their day or at some point in the future, and for some they are merely fragments of their experience put together by the mind in dream form.
This one makes everyone I tell it to laugh, so I hope it entertains you also. I had this dream as a junior in highschool and though I am nealry 29 years old, it has stayed with me all these years.
The dream began in a forest. I was standing amonst tall trees and I suddenly realized that I was surrounded by bears of all shapes and sizes. I was terrified and I began to shake all over. At this point one bear walked up to me and placed it's paws on it's jaws and opened it's head like a can. It was a constume and I was mad. I was about to tell that man just how rude he was when he merrily pointed behind him at a bear that was REAL. Really BIG too. And it was running toward me.
I was paralysed with fear, not that the bear would eat me or attack me, per-sey...but that it would LICK me. So....I ran.
Suddenly, I was in a large field. Across the feild I could see my granparents house. I ran and ran, and while doing so, I kept looking behind me at this giant bear, with it's slobbery dripping wet tounge.
As I came to the house I slammed myself against the door to open it, but realized that something felt ODD. I looked down and saw that I was naked. Sh-I-sh ca-bobs! So, I cracked the door open and frantically called inside for a robe. Inside the door I saw my grandparents playing bridge at the table. My granfather looked over at me with this Jack Nicholson "Joker" look on his face and said (like Ray Stevens song, It's me again margret) "ARE YA NEKED?!" **if you've never heard the song..lok it up, trust me.
Anyway...Screaming in horror at the oddity of that question I looked back and the giant tounge which was attached to a giant bear that was almost upon me....so, with no modesty what-so-ever..I flung the door open and tore up the stairs!!!
This is where the dream went into slow motion. For now, every step felt like it took 2 minutes to take and even the sound had become distorted in that classic cartoon fashion. The last thing I remember is looking back and seeing my world disappear and all that encompassed my view was the huge, slippery, tastebud covered tounge of the bear that was about to slather me up.
Needless to say, I woke up in quite a panic. I never could understand why I would fear being licked instead of eaten. Still haven't figured it out. I hope the story came across in the written word, without the dramatization it usually gets, in a way in which you could see the humor!

I don't often remember my dreams and can't remember THE most interesting dream.
I do know, however, that a great way to remember dreams is to talk about them immediately after waking. The more you speak of a dream, the more details seem to come forth.
I've also heard that writing dreams down, again, immediately after waking, is an excellent way to train your mind to remember dreams.

This one is close to the top and is quite recent:
I dreamed I had a new daughter who I had just adopted. By "new" I mean this was her first day with us! I think she was supposed to be 11 years old. She was thin with long, blonde hair, and she was very athletic. As the dream began, she was showing me how she could fake out a defender dribbling a basketball. She cut one way, cut the other, did a 360 spin, and sure enough, she looked very proficient at it, in demonstration. However, I wanted to see if she could really fake me out if I tried to defend her. So we walked toward the basketball goal, talking happily along the way. I was thinking that I could defend her if I didn't bite too hard on her fakes, stayed low, and kept my feet apart. Just as we're getting to where we're going to do our challenge, I feel a sudden swell of happiness and love for her. I hug her, kiss her left cheek three times and enthusiastically say, "I am SO happy we have you!" She smiles back at me and hugs me back.
There seems to be an element I don't remember well in which I'm worried about what my wife's reaction is going to be. I think we didn't completly agree actually for sure to adopt, just agreed in principle. Also, I think I picked out the particular child on my own. Consequently, I don't know how she's exactly going to fit in with the rest of the family, but, as I say, I feel very happy with her.
About this dream:
I recently decided to "adopt" the attitude that I would accept and love myself, no matter what other people thought of me. This has had mixed results where my wife is concerned, because she is used to knowing where my "guilt buttons" are and has been able to press them when she feels like she needs to. I have taken that decision out of her hands now, though. I think I'll be a happier person, less often depressed, but, as in the dream, it's not clear that others have yet accepted this new attitude or be as pleased with it as I am.

flying dreams are the most interesting dreams.
They symbolize free of control, freedom of many things.
Because among all dreams, I believe flying dreams are the good ones. and I had that once long time ago. Wish to have more:)!

I remember most of them. Sometimes a dream will come back to me, from the night before, when I am going to sleep.
I have often woken up sobbing over a dream that wasn't even tear worthy, that's crazy.

I've always been able to remember my dreams and I smoke a lot of pot. But before I began smoking I used to be able to control my dreams. I've always wished there was a way to record dreams, cause I've remembered some doozies before and wanted to see them again.
