I feel for you. It really might not hurt to suggest counseling. The basic fact is the two of you need to talk. Sometimes a conversation like that can go on for a while but once the feelings and concerns are out on the table you'll have something to work with.
My wife and I have been married for over 27 years. There have been a few tough stretches in there but we love each other and we got through them. I wish the same for the two of you.

Sounds to me like she is suffering from depression. There might be a chemical reason she's feeling this way and she should get checked out by a counselor. Especially if she doesn't know why she feels this way and she can't get out of it. It sounds like something that is out of her control. When she gets back this evening I'd talk with her and see if you guys can't get into some marriage counseling. Tell her you'd like to go together but if she wants to start out by herself to maybe get some things off her chest that she can't tell you than you'd be fine with that too.

Sounds like she is desperately seeking you!
She sounds very sad and she needs you right now to jut understand. I really don't know if she needs time alone or just needs you to love her more. She is tired and is asking, begging pleading with you to help her.
This is a rough time for you both I am sure but you can keep it together with some effort. Maybe more on your part right now.

my sister wrote her hubby the same letter, she married my x brother in law because she could not take living under our parents home. not because she loved him. it did not work, she tried to convince herself she loved him. they too had two children, and she thought she was a bad mother, so she finally left claiming he was an abuser, it was never the real reason for the divorce. she finally just could not take living a lie. the down fall for years was terrible, their boys do not want anything to do with their mother because my x brother in law filled them with lies and mistruths. she needs to be completely honest. you don't say she was having an affair, if she was, it tells me a lot, it tells me that something is missing in your relations hp with each other to make her feel complete, and important and equal member of the family. in this case there is no honest answer or direction to tell you. but if she lived at home with her parents until she married, and your now having problems, this is a normal thing to happen. because she never lived alone, she is having doubts about who and what she is, what she wants in live, until she answers them for herself truthfully you will continue to have problems. do not be surprised if she comes to the point where she says she wants out of the marriage. i suggest you let her read this answer, and listen to what she has to say

Again, you need counceling! She is going through SOMETHING! I wouldn't assume that she is cheating, but I would be concerned that the potential is there. You need to sit her down and talk to her. Ask her what is going on, and then ask her to go to counceling with you. You need to make an appointment before you talk to her. If she isn't willing to go with you, keep the appointment and go by yourself. If money is an issue for you, call a local church and ask them for advice on who to talk to.
It takes two to make a relationship work, but you need to fight for it if you want it! Your children deserve that!
It may eventually end in divorce anyway, but you need to do everything within your power to work it out. That is the only way you will be able to move on. Good luck!!
