*both hands waving madly in the air* of course they should, they've got to be mental! Harry Potter was the first good book I read, I think I was about 8 when the 1st one came out, I still love them, and since then I've been addicted to books, and I'm writing my own. anyone who wants to ban Harry Potter wants to ban children from getting into books, clearly.
and while we're on the topic, people are getting way overprotective of their kids - I spent my entire childhood up trees and playing conkers and the likes, and have never broken a bone. now they're saying kids have to wear goggles to play conkers and protective gear to climb trees. insane or what?

*raises both hands*
Harry Potter is just fiction, something created for the entertainment of others. Those who intend to ban Harry Potter are just plain ignorant.

People that want to ban Harry Potter are ignorant. They have not read the books and are making blind assumptions. I don't know about a shrink but I think that they need to realize that people are reading it because it's a brilliantly written piece of literature, and a fun fantasy escape... not because it's about witchcraft or worshipping the devil!

I'm getting used to it. They banned the Golliwogs by Enid Blyton and those were great books. I'm passed getting upset about things now. Ban what you like. I'll find something else to do with my spare time.

The people who want to band the book thinks that children would be stupid enough to actually think that you could do that kind of magic in the real world. They think that more kids will read Wicca and Pagan books and want to convert to that religion.
