I'm on the pill (Tri-cyclen lo) and I was supposed to get my period about a week and a half ago but I haven't yet. I've been getting cramps and the feeling of getting my period though. I am sexually active. Last month, my period lasted about 2 and a half weeks! It came about a week before it was supposed to and then also during the week it was supposed to and then continued for a few days after that. What does this all mean? My period is late, but it lasted longer last month so does that have something to do with it? Could I be pregnant or something?!

How long have you been on the pill? It can take a while to adjust to it... also any missed pills can throw your cycle off wack too. Just do as your doctor says, take one a day, and it will eventually get on track. I've been there too, took a while to adjust to the pill. Also stress and other factors can make your period go away/be late/early/longer/shorter/heavier/lighter... we women have too much to deal with... lol. Good luck hun.

I'm sure you will be getting it- once you start on the pill it may mess up your cycle for a while before you get regulated. I would wait a few more days and if still nothing then I would go to a doctor!

Sounds like the Tri-cyclen is messing up your system. It happened to me too....you could be what they call hormone sensitive. Try Alssee pronouced (Alees) it's a hormone sensitive pill that gives you mild periods with no PMS or cramps.

Go to the doctors and find out. Any time something is not right you need to check with him/her. Could be the doctor needs to put you on different birth control pills. Good luck!

You may just be having irregular periods since you are on the pill. It may take a while for it to regulate. Your period is probably on the way.

when you're on the pill, sometiems you'll get irregular period, after you're on it for awhile, it'll regulates the period. so if your period lasted for 2 weeks last month, this month you might not get it.
