Nicholas is the man ! and I have a man that looks like him so of course I like him better. My thought on Tom is he is an over controlling self-centered jerk!

Not that I'm an advocate of Tom, but there's no way in hell you can seriously call Nicholas Cage an "actor". He's a star alright, only because Uncle Copolla (Francis Ford) says he can be. It's that simple. In fairness I've seen him in two movies that he's actually turned in a decent performance, only because he had to virtually keep his mouth shut in both of them. The only time his movies ever do well in when he's billed alongside anoter A-list actor/actress. He's Hollywoods biggest "the director owes me a favour" boy.
I heard he thinks himself such a gifted actor he refuses roles where he might have to die. Come to think of it, I can't even think of a movie where he died. At least Tom has SOME humility.

I'm starting to think that way. Nicholas Cage's movies are great some of Tom's are great but seems now-a-days Tom likes to run his mouth a lot, I'll stick with Nick

I have to disagree. While I love watching Orlando Bloom and own all of his movies, Johnny Depp is definatly an awesome actor. Look at all the different types of roles he has played! Orlando kinda sticks to the same thing for the most part, and is really good at it. But Tom Hanks and Johnny Depp definatly have a broad range of characters and are wonderful actors in their own respect. I haven't seen too much from Keanu Reeves, but what I've seen I've liked.

I don't like either of them. I find Nicolas Cage incredibly annoying, and I think Tom Cruise is a horrifying, deluded little man who can't even admit his own sexuality.
But I've only ever been moved by one of them in a movie, and that was Cruise in "Magnolia". So...

why even have a comparison. nicholas cage is a man. 100%. he even comes from a famous family. his uncle directed the godfathers trigology. he has made a name for himself and he also has married otehr celebritites just been more smart about it and not gotten anyone pregnant outside of married.
tom cruise is a child trapped in a man's body. he has a huge ego and he is not all that. his last movies even though they have made millions (are all the same). he has not made a good or great movie since the 1980's (taps, legends, risky business, cocktails).

yeah, tom has had some big summer blockbusters in the past.

If you look at Tom's movies he's had blockbuster hits one right after the other.
Nic hasn't.
Tom's a great actor, but unfortunately his mouth and his attitude gets the better of him.
