The Clash wrote that song long before Blair was in office. BTW, check out versions by Living Colour, and by Ice Cube - they are good versions too.

it's a mick jones clash song from 1982's combat rock. joe strummer was the usual singer and songwriter for the clash, but mick would do a song here and there. this song doesn't even rank on the top 20 or so greatest clash songs. check out london calling or rock the casbah.
