For the same reason we still have racism all over the world. It's been burned into people through generations. it takes years of understanding to break the wall of racism. other countries have been fighting it for a million years. we have only truly calmed the storm over the last 40 years. It takes time and as frustrating as it is, we have come a long way in 40 years.
I am a Korean/Black American. I'm not accepted by the Koreans (I'm Black) Not accepted by Blacks( because I look Indian (from India for the people that still think Columbus is a hero)) and I'm not accepted by America because I'm black and a woman. Sometimes you just have to say screw people and just be yourself. don't worry about skin. life has so much more to offer.

Lady Shay, if everyone one the racist's list, blacks, Hispanics, Jews, etc., magically disappeared this afternoon (it's Wednesday), by Monday they would have selected another group to blame for all the sins in the calender and to hate passionately. Maybe it would be the Shriners or the Lions Club, but racists have to have someone to focus on to justify their fears and suspicions.

Because those people havent let go of their anger so it builded up in side them and now they think those type of people whoever they are are devils like Iran they need to just let it go. Yes we made a mistake by suporting a crazy dictator for 15 years so what it has been a while since thats happend.

There will always be ignorant people. Mostly because they are raised with a certain outlook on life which most likely came from their parents.

theres racism everywhere no matter what anyone says. its sad yes, but what can u do about it? nothing. u can try and make everyone nice and anti-racism but there r still people that think they r better than anyone else and think that they rule the world. thats just how people r
