It's cultural. In our culture breasts have been fetishcized to the point that they are thought of by many (men) as sexual organs. This is ridiculous, of course, as their only biological function is for the nourishment of our young, they play no functional role in sex whatsoever. And it goes without saying that many other cultures do not see breasts as sexual in any way.

You gotta realize that in our country sex is one of the biggest taboos, and frontal nudity is just out of the question. All throughout our lives men see women's breasts, but they're always covered up. We basically want what we're told we can't have. Cause men can go and implant boobs, BUT THAT"S WEIRD, and women can just let them hang out or even just throw them at us, BUT THAT"S NOT LADY LIKE. It's just a matter of our conditioning. Men gave a rats a** about women's breasts in midevil times. Soon as they started making undergarments and instilling a feeling that they are for select people to see men became more and more attracted. Supply and Demand baby, supply and demand. Go to some African village and see how many guys are attracted to boobs.

Men love breasts because we want a healthy mate that will provide the best milk for a baby. It is a survival instinct.

subconciosly, men are attracted to the breast because it was the first thing they fell in love with - it's the first place where they got food and comfort virtually on demand. On the surface, breasts are associated with sex; therefore, men (and some girls ;-) ) are attracted to them.

It shows us that the woman is a good provider for the baby (milk). I've also read that since women lost the "red butt" of other primates, and we have face-face sex, we need some other rounded visual clue of sexuality.

1% because we are wired to be attracted, but since so many look to make money off that 1% would say 99% is cultivated by advertising.

Because we don't have them. They're soft, capable of feeding our offspring. That's something you don't find in a man. And I'm not talking about man-titties. I mean that's the purpose of heterosexual activity.

i heard a theory once that says the cleavage resembles the butt crack, and men have a natural attraction towards that because originally the men would bend the women over during sex, thus they would see the butt crack during sex.

A female with nice boobs, slim waist and small round butt is just more aesthetic than any other combination.
