Do you know who can help you??? Your OB!! You have had average size babies before, this one may be too. Talk to YOUR DOCTOR that is why we go to prenatal appointments. Your OB measures your belly every visit for a reason, they will tell you if you are measuring "large for your dates" and order appropriate tests. NOthing will happen or be answered if you do not talk with your medical provider. You won't find the answer here, just opinion. Would you not rather have the facts?????

They say you get bigger earlier with each pregnancy. My first (and only so far) was 9 lbs. I was huge! But, I don't think there's anything to be nervous about. The fact that your belly is bigger, doesn't necessarily mean that the baby will be bigger. There was a girl at my work who was pregnant for the 5th time, and she was super-huge right away. By the end of her pregnancy she was still pretty big, but the growth had slowed down. Her baby was only 7 lbs. Both of my grandfathers were 13 lbs and homebirths (weird, huh?). If they could do it, you certainly can! Good luck!

when i was 9 months pregnant, i would walk around and people would ask me, why am i up and being so active if i was carrying twins...well, first of all, i only had 1 baby in my uterus...i gained 65 pounds with my son..no gestational diabetes or anything...he came out at 7 pounds and 4 ounces...the day before my induction, i had an ultrasound, the OB/GYN said i had alot more amniotic fluid in my uterus than usual, but it was nothing to worry about...
most women will say each pregnancy is about the same as the last...but there is always that one pregnancy that can catch you off guard and be 10 times different..
if you are going to your regular check ups and the doctors hasnt said anything about your weight or size, dont worry....

This is something you may not want to hear, but it is very common to remain smaller after the first few pregnancies and lose the weight afterwards, but between 3 and 5 pregnancies it becomes increasingly more difficult to maintain your figure or regain it afterwards.
There is a mother of 6 that just came out with a book about parenting who is still very thin, so it is not that you can not lose weight, just that statistically it becomes more difficult.

It doesn't matter with the size of your baby and your size of body. The important thing is to have enough neutritions instead of amount of food that you eat. You can walk on street for two hours at least (sorry for you, but your baby is in your body and the baby needs some exercise too). Check your body's condition with your doctor regulary since you have a baby in your body. And say hi to the baby for me, will ya?

With my mother's last one, she measured for triplets...but she only had a boy 8lbs 5 oz. Her placenta was huge and very healthy and in front...so that may also be the case with you. It also may be that you are futher along than you or your doctor thinks. Good Luck and Congrats!

You may have a large baby but lots of times doctors like to take them early so they dont have to do a c section. You might have a large baby to.

For each pregnancy your belly blows out more... it goes, "I remember this" and BAM. It doesn't necessarily mean this baby is much larger, but it could be. Good luck to you. Hugs and belly rubs.

Ask your doctor. If your insurance will allow, you could go for an ultrasound and get the facts. The facts will reassure you.
