If I'm driving my car at 75 MPH while eating a grilled cheese sandwich at one bite every 21 seconds/6 bites per sandwich/And I'm traveling down a flat road that's 30 miles long. How fast would I need to be going to consume 20 sandwiches within the 30 mile stretch?

126 seconds per sandwich
20x126=2520 seconds
You go 30 miles in 2520 seconds or
2520/60=42 minutes
30 miles in 42 minutes= 30 miles in .7 hours
30/.7=42.857mph

answer: 42.857 mph

The answer is 42.9 MPH.
You'll have to slow down and start from the beginning at 42.9 MPH, if you want to finish 20 sandwiches by the 30 miles mark. If you continue at 75 MPH, you're going to overshoot the 30 miles mark. However, if you choose to slow down (and not start over from the beginning) from 75 MPH, you have to take into account the distance you have travelled till the start of deceleration and the deceleration rate, in order to calculate what speed you have to decelerate to in order to consume 20 sandwiches by the end of the 30 miles. Your question isn't clear on what the situation is. Therefore, I made my own assumption.

I don't know about the speed at the beginning, but if it takes you
6 bites @ 21 sec a bite to finish a sandwhich, than it would be 126 seconds a sandwhich. Thus to eat 20 sandwhiches, it would take you 2520 seconds, or 42 minutes.

So you have to travel the 30 mile path in 42 minutes to eat 20 sandwhiches, which means

30/42 = x/60

42x = 1800

x = 42.857142857142857142857142857143 miles per hour

It depends on how fast you want to reach the end of the 30 mile stretch. It would take you 42min. to eat all 20 sandwiches. There is no real question here however because at the beginning of the question you state that you are going 75mph. which means you would have enough time to eat all 20 sandwhiches. I really do not know what kind of answer you are looking for. sorry.

That wouldn't matter, as you have been pulled over by the cops and busted for wreckless driving.

You will be speding some serious time in jail where you can eat all the grilled cheese sandwiches, at any speed, you like.

no of bites /sandwich=6
time for 6 bites=126 sec
time for 20 sandwiches=126*20 secs
2520 secs
=2520/3600hrs
speed=dist/time
=30/(2520/3600)mph=42.86mph

about 45 mph, but you already said you were going 75. you will get there early and have to sit in the parking lot to finish.
