Ok, I've posted a few times on this site looking for advice on which London EPL club to support. I am looking strictly at London clubs, because I may be moving there in the next couple of years. I have ruled out Chelsea, Fulham, Charlton, and for the most part Tottenham. That leaves me with West Ham and the Arsenal. Which club would you reccomend for an American looking for exciting play, devoted fans, and a family friendly environment?

Definitely West Ham, they are a "proper" traditional club with a long history of attractive football and home grown players. Currently, they are underachieving and the fans are angry with the coach, who may get sacked soon if the results dont improve. But its a very passionate and devoted crowd, and supporting the club passes down through families because they are the club of the East End, which is a close knit community.

Arsenal, on the other hand, are vey successful and powerful but supporting them is like supporting an international business or a commercial company...its less about the traditional aspects of following a football club and more about how much money the club can wring out of their fans through high ticket prices and marketing. Why the hell would any football fan want to support a "brand"?

So, its kind of like the difference betwween the Yankees and the Mets...one is a rich, successful company that happens to play baseball, the other is a real baseball team.

You're American and (may be) living in London. You are a Manchester United fan by default. United have exciting play, devoted fans (all the plastic supporters now 'support' Chelski) and a family friendly environment - we have to sit down at the games and we're a Brand don't you know.

Though if you insist on a London club, it should be West Ham. My father supports West Ham and he knows best. They are, in my (uniformed) opinion, one of few football clubs with a bit of dignity. Look at all the English players they've brought through and compare it with Arsenal.

Well, if you're the sort of Yank who would support the New York Yankees just because they win a lot with lots of money rather than lots of heart, then you can go with Arsenal. If you like teams that whine and blame everyone else for their losses (see vs. CSKA Moscow) then Arsenal are for you.

However, if you want to pick a club with real English spirit and scrap, you'll support West Ham.

Personally, as a USAian, I support the Toon, though they aren't winning much these days. I love 'er too much to leave 'er.

We have all heard about vouchers that allow you to spend much less that you would normally spend on a meal or a gadget or even a certain service provided to you such as a massage. However, there are many people that have no idea of how to get a voucher uk or vouchers for restaurants. The truth is that the process is actually really simple and all you need to do is follow a few simple steps that will help you get the deals that you desire. Also, there are certain terms and conditions that need to be respected in order to be able to benefit from the discounted price that you would have to pay due to the voucher that you have bought. Let's see what it is all about!

Arsenal...

Very good passing game.

Very fit players.

Awesome coach/manager. - They pick good players, scout them out, with very sound technical skills, then they also must be atheletes (fit as a fiddle) before even being approached.

They have the best player in the world in Theirry HENRY.

Crazy Goalkeeper with a short fuse in Jens Lehman. So every game is exciting as you never know when he will erupt.

One of the best playmakers in the world. super young gun Cesc Fabregas.

New stadium.

Enuf said. Go support them. Extremely exciting to watch them play. Great team work and ball distribution. you will love it.
