I have a printed bathing suit that I want to dye black. I was wondering will the dye cover the print, or will I have to use a color remover first then dye it. also I was wondering if the dye will run or not after I get in the water. thanks for your help!!!

no it won't cover the print nothing will remove it you use hot water to dye might shrink suit but if you dye you need to put salt in the final rinse to hold color I'd just get a new suit

I wouldn't think the dye would take on most suits being nylon/spandex but the dye package should tell you what types of fabrics it is made for...

Make sure your suit is a compatible fabric to go with the dye you've chosen...

I wouldn't risk it. Even if the dye worked on the fabric, I wouldn't want to be the tea bag turning the pool black when I dove in. That would be embarassing to say the least.

Unless the print is black it will most likely not cover the printed pattern or the nylon fabric.
