You can't stop them...they usually come from bogus email addresses anyway. You just have to keep deleting them. Also, mark the message as Spam, this helps to improve Yahoo's Spam filter.

I would make a habit marking email like as spam. From then on it will go directly to you spam folder where you can delete all of them.
You could try to find a return email and threaten them with a law suit. but just spam it and ignore it. Eventually the number of these scams will dwindle.

send the mail to spoof@yahoo.com and then click spam at the top of the message

You can also put them on block under email options,just type or copy & paste it to your block,Good luck

i hit the spam button--am sick of my email accnt. being invaded with junk mail
